RELEVANT

This is an excerpt from a letter between Charles and Jackson Pollack in 1929 as the depression was hitting. Still relevant today.

Charles writes: "The one hope in this country for improvement in the quality of our national life, is the increasing body of protests in the youth, and the critical concern of the liberal thinkers and artists, and the earnestness in which they accept responsibility for sound and clear thinking on the many aspects of contemporary life."

I encourage you to formulate opinions on our country's current condition and voice them. Obama's message of change won't ring true unless we take action. Use art, use music, use speech, use whatever you are blessed with and change the path we are headed down.
