Facebook is officially deleted. I want people to call me to see what's going on instead of just looking at my facebook. I'm tired of doing the same thing to others as well. If you want to know what's going on, call and we'll go get coffee and chat. I hope genuine friendships come out of this. With facebook gone, I will know people are being real when they say "ohh I've been thinking about you lately, let's chat". Instead of people being fake and acting like they don't already know. I realize that facebook is an easy way to connect, but most of my friends are connected in some way, so it's not hard to acquire people's numbers. Facebook tried to make me feel guilty for leaving. Thanks to Casey, Matthew, Amber, Jake, and Kristin, who will miss me on Facebook. I'm sure it's genuine and I'm sure that you will be calling me soon.
I hear you. As much as I love the internet because it is supposed to "bring people together" I think in some ways it has done the opposite. I have gone back to writing letters by hand and I love it, even if I don't always get a response back.
